World AIDS Day is today. It was just over three years ago that I watched my Kenyan roommate Edith deal with the painful aftermath of losing her father to AIDS. Say a prayer for Africa and Asia today.

Wow, the AIDS epidemic is larger than we realize sometimes. There's a great summary book called "The Skeptics Guide to the Global AIDS Crisis" that I just read and heartily recommend. By Dale Hanson Bourke. Get it. - jp
