My poor car!

dear friends, please pray for my poor car! the engine light has turned on today, and i'm all in a worrisome tizzy, wondering if my lovely blue Sunfire will live to drive another day! tomorrow, i take it to the diagnostic man who may just charge me $60 to tell me the check engine light is broken. or he might tell me the car needs a new engine. oh dear.

What did the diagnostic man say about your poor little car?

My car is apparently having sympathy pains, as my "check engine" light popped on during my drive to work this morning. I've come to ignore it, though, because it usually goes away later, and doesn't ding when it comes on, and never blinks. Blinking is bad. When it blinks, I'll do something about it. Until then, it's just another pretty light to adorn the holiday season.

Having had to put a good chunk of money into my car this year, I empathasize with you. The repairs are still cheaper than a new one. Check with your friends for someone reliable. Some people like to advantage of single females since they figure they don't know anything about cars. Usually, if its someone well known you can avoid the problems. Aunt Danie

i asked my cars (both of whom are now in heaven) to pray on behalf of your car, in the communion of car saints. i hope your car is fine. maybe just needs an oil change?
