I can see Disneyland from the hotel window...
...this freaks me out a bit, because you can't see Disney World from hotel windows.
The convention starts in 90 minutes. Things are ready-set-go.
I'm excited...
...pray for us!

I hope you're having fun! In case you decide to visit disneyland, and you visit the gift shops, my favorite disney characters are sally and jack from nightmare before christmas. speaking of christmas, i'm being good! i'm almost done with planning everyone's christmas knit presents, so this weekend i get to buy yarn for them!

I'm not sure I understand why being able to see Disneyland, and not seeing Disney World is significant. Do they not have hotels by Disney World. I'm confused, and I don't like being confused on a Friday, right before my weekend.
Disney World is not visible from the highway or any surrounding areas because there's a huge forest surrounding it. So...it has an element of mystery clouding it. I've been to Disney World a bajillion times, so I always associate Disney with that secretive element. To be able to see the Tower of Terror from the hotel window is unnerving, because I'm thinking, "You're not supposed to be able to see Disneyland from the hotel."
Capiche?
Scott said that he ran into you today.... hope that you're having a great time! Funny... he said the same thing about seeing Disneyland, too. Said that it's kind of crazy seeing it after visiting Disney World so many times and working there as well!

I guess it's kind of like being able to see Great America from the highway in Chicago. The fact that one can see Disneyland from anywhere stresses the fact that it is an entertainment facility, and not really "a whole new world." Kind of pops the bubble.
I really can't believe I just left a disney comment on Heather's blog. That's funny to me. Heather, if you could talk to the Beast and ask him to send me his library (and maybe his castle too?), I'd really appreciate it.
Speaking of castles (wren), the castle at Disneyland is WAY smaller than the one at Disneyworld. Quite the disappointment, I must say.
